Laagen is open throughout the year.


The treetop cabin provides one double bed and an extra one double mattress in an alcove. The glass containers are equipped with a double bed plus an extra daybed. The daybed provides two single mattresses. The Laagen Workshop Hub is designed for meetings between 8 and 12 people.

What to pack

You really don’t need to bring much to Laagen. First and foremost, be sure to bring clothes that match the weather forecast. Additionally, packing a headlamp, tour bag, water bottle and padded seating will add to the experience if you’re looking to explore the vicinity.

Food & drinks

At Laagen, you have access to a kitchen equipped with a fridge, refrigerator, induction cooking top and dishwasher. If you prefer to cook on your own, you are welcome to do so. If you’d like us to fill up the fridge for you or serve delicious dishes during your stay, bookings can be made up to 3 days before arrival.

If you belong to a group, we need to receive the order 7 days prior to arrival. Please send an inquiry to post@visitlaagen.no. Please remember to provide information regarding allergies and the total number of people.


There is no Wifi in the treetop hut, nor the glass containers. However, 4G cellular coverage is generally quite good.


We regret to inform you that pets are not allowed.


Smoking in or around the Laagen units is strictly forbidden.

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.

Self check-in

Normal time for checkin is at 3PM unless otherwise agreed. You will receive practical information regarding self check-in a couple of days before your stay.


Normal time for checkout is at 11AM.

Driving directions and parking
